女子かしまし物語 (Romaji: Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari; English: The Story of Noisy Girls) is the 23rd single from the Hello! Project group Morning Musume, released on 2004-07-22 on the zetima label.
The CD single was released in regular (EPCE-5304) and limited (EPCE-5303) editions. The cover of the regular edition has a grey background and comes with Hello! Project Photo Card No. 0007. The cover of the limited edition has a white background with the girls in a more relaxed pose and comes with photo cards No. 002 through 005. [1] [2]
On the same date, a DVD (EPBE-5142) of two music videos (PVs) were released for this song, a regular version and a "Panic Train" version. The DVD video is in 4:3 ratio and has a total running time of 21 min 51 s. Its cover has a black background.
This single was the last for fourth generation members Kago Ai and Tsuji Nozomi.

Song notes
Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari features each of the 14 Morning Musume members highlighted in a stanza. Humorously, Yaguchi Mari is made fun of her "Sexy Beam" (from Koi no Dance Site) having not manifested, as well as Iida Kaori made fun of because she alone among her friends is not married.
Many members have graduated since this single was first released. A new version called Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari 2 (minus Kago and Tsuji) was released as track 12 on Morning Musume's sixth album Ai no Dai 6 Kan.
In spring of 2005, a live version of Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari 2 was performed live at Morning Musume concerts where graduated members Goto Maki and Abe Natsumi sang verses as well.
A third version of this song (appropriately titled Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari 3) was released on Morning Musume's 7th album, Rainbow 7. This version had a slightly different instrumental than the first two, featuring a harmonica as the lead instead of a sax, and including new memeber Kusumi Koharu
