"don't be discouraged" is the 25th single released by Hayashibara Megumi. The title track, "don't be discouraged" was used as the ending theme song to the Slayers TRY anime series and the b-side, "Breeze" was used as the series' opening theme song.
The single reached #4 on the Oricon chart and stayed on the chart for a total of eight weeks. This is Hayashibara's highest charting and best selling solo single. It sold over 211,000 copies in total.
