AS FOR ONE DAY was the 18th single from the Hello! Project group Morning Musume, released on 2003-04-23 on the zetima label. This was the last single released before Yasuda Kei graduated. Kago Ai provides the opening monologue for this song, thus her and Yaguchi Mari (who has the most solo parts in this song) have been considered the centers of this song.
A DVD (EPBE-5066) and VHS tape (EPVE-5066) of the music video for this song were also released featuring a 'making of' featurette and commentary from members.
Although the Morning Musume 6th generation members had joined before the release date of this single, they were not featured in it.
