Information

"raging waves" is the 30th single released by Hayashibara Megumi. The title track was used as the theme song to the fourth Slayers anime film, Slayers Gorgeous. The B-side, "I&Myself" was used as the theme song to the Slayers Royal 2 video game. This is Hayashibara's ninth single to have a tie-in with the popular Slayers series.

The single reached #8 on the Oricon chart, and stayed on the chart for a total of eight weeks. The song also managed to reach #4 on the radio program, SOMETHING DREAMS Multimedia Countdown. It sold over 112,000 copies in total.
