Trivia
- Originally a first generation member of SKE48, she was placed in Team S in 2009.
- She was announced for a concurrent position with AKB48 Team K in 2012. Currently, she has the longest tenure with her concurrency, having been the first with Watanabe Miyuki to begin the concept. On October 22, 2015, she announced via radio broadcast on AKB48 no All Night Nippon her intention to cancel her AKB48 concurrency and return to SKE48 full-time.
- Beginning with the single "Oogoe Diamond", she became a prominent member of AKB48's senbatsu lineups for singles due to representing SKE48. She and Matsui Rena are best known as the primary centers of SKE48, and their shared surname has lead to fan nicknames like "W Matsui" (W松井; pronounced "Double Matsui") and "JR".
