モーニングコーヒー (English: Morning Coffee) is the first single from the Hello! Project group Morning Musume, released on 1998-01-28.
The CD single was released as a regular edition (EPDA-56).
This single was rereleased as a 12-cm CD single (EPCE-5321) as part of the Morning Musume EARLY SINGLE BOX on 2004-12-15 with a previously unpublished track added.
An individual edition of the rereleased version (EPCE-5313) has been released on 2005-03-02.
A rap/country version of Morning Coffee, titled Morning Gyuunyuu (English: Morning Milk), is featured as the b-side on Country Musume's 1st single, Futari no Hokkaido.
A 2002 version was featured as the b-side to Morning Musume's 14th single, Souda! We're ALIVE.
The original recording as shown on ASAYAN had Iida Kaori doing main vocals, but Tsunku changed his mind to Abe Natsumi and the rest is history.
