Information

Queen of Hip-Pop' is Amuro Namie's seventh album, released one and a half years after STYLE. This album is considered Amuro's comeback album, as it sold twice as many units as STYLE. First press edition came with an exclusive "Pink Panther & Girl Pink Panther 'NAMIE Version' Sticker", as well as an illustration with word paper. After approximately a minute of silence after the last track, No, a secret acoustic version (No pt. 2) is played. Surprisingly, the song "the SPEED STAR" does not appear on this album, despite it being one of the two A-sides on the single "GIRL TALK / the SPEED STAR". This album reached #2 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for 22 weeks. It sold 455,428 copies, becoming the #27 album of 2005.
