Information

"Love Story" is a pop ballad recorded by Amuro Namie. It is her first song produced by T-SK, Tesung Kim, Olivia Nervo and Miriam Nervo (The Nervo Twins). "Love Story" was used as the theme for the dorama series Watashi Ga Renai Dekinai Riyuu. Despite The Nervo Twins being known as Electronic dance music artists, the song marks a return to her pure pop sound. It was first found on Amuro's 36th single (eighth Double A-side) "Sit! Stay! Wait! Down! / Love Story" in 2011, and was later placed on her ninth studio record Uncontrolled in 2012.

A year after the single's initial release the song was reworked into a music box version, and released as her fourth digital single "Love Story (Xmas Music Box Ver.) ".

The original version of the song was extremely popular, and was well received by critics. It reached #2 on Billboard Japan's Hot 100, #7 on Japan Airplay Chart, and peaked at #1 on RIAJ Digital Track Chart.[1] The song was certified Million by Recording Industry Association of Japan for over 1,000,000 downloads for the both the song and the ringtone.
