"Trust" is the third single released by Hamasaki Ayumi. The title tracj was used as Kaou's Sofiina Oobu Ruujufiiria commercial song. The single reached #9 on the Oricon charts (her first single in the top ten) and stayed on the charts for a total of ten weeks. During the first week the single sold 32,460 copies, and has since sold a total of 181,820 copies.
The single was later re-released on 2001.02.28 in a 12cm format with new remixes. This time around the single reached #29 on the Oricon charts and only stayed on the charts for two weeks.

The music video for "Trust" was directed by Wataru Takeishi. The video switches between scenes of Hamasaki in a recording studio and shots of her walking on the beach.
