- Information
"toi et moi" is Amuro Namie's 12th single. The title track was used as the ending theme song for the movie Pokémon: The Movie 2000. The song appears exclusively on this single. It reached #3 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for 11 weeks. It sold 272,110 copies, becoming the #85 single of 1999. It is rumored that Amuro did not want to release this single, as she did not believe in the song's market-worthyness. Despite that, "toi et moi" is Amuro's first J-Urban release and her first step away from idol pop into urban pop.
