The music video for "ourselves" was directed by Tange Kouki. It shows Hamasaki being trapped in a car by people hitting it, and chained up to a wall. All the while, scientists are tearing apart A BEST posters, sewing A BEST covers, painting them, destroying them.

Though there is no direct confirmation, it is believed the video to be a critic to the management avex trax had of her in the recent years, forcing her to make releases like the A BEST compilation.
