- Originally a first generation member of HKT48 Kenkyuusei, she was placed in Team H in March 2012.
- Is the youngest member of HKT48's first generation. At the time of their debut, this made Tanaka the first member in the 48 Group who was born in the year 2000.

- The nickname "Boss" refers to her sadistic and blunt character despite being very young.
