The video features Ayumi sitting in a bar watching people come and go. The video then follows a few of the visitors as they leave. The video also switches to a heavens gate scene where Hamasaki sings.
The "For My Dear..." PV was directed by Yokoh (aka Hiramitsu) Odagami. The video follows the love stories between two couples, while Ayu sits at a table in a bar watching them. The story scenes are interrupted later by scenes of Ayu singing on a Heavenly looking set.
