History
Kusunoki Mei was revealed as a new addition to the Hello Pro Kenshuusei through an announcement on the official Hello! Project website on November 1, 2018, alongside Saito Madoka and Onoda Karin. Their first live appearance and introduction took place on December 2, 2018 at the "Hello! Project Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2018 12gatsu ~Mikan~" event. An announcement was made on April 2nd, 2019 that she had finished her training.
