Onoda Karin (小野田華凜) is a Japanese singer and idol managed by Up-Front Promotion and part of Hello! Project. She is a member of the Japanese pop girl group Rosy Chronicle.

History
Prior to joining the Hello Pro Kenshuusei, Onoda Karin was a 10th generation member of the girls theater troupe Hanayashiki Shoujo Kageki (花やしき少女歌劇団), from 2016 until her graduation in September 2018. During that time, she participated in Hello! Project Shin Member Audition and Hello! Project "ONLY YOU" Audition, but failed to pass both.
Onoda was revealed as a new addition to Hello Pro Kenshuusei through an announcement on the official Hello! Project website on November 1, 2018, alongside Saito Madoka and Kusunoki Mei. Their first live appearance and introduction took place on December 2, 2018 at the "Hello! Project Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2018 12gatsu ~Mikan~" event.
On February 5, 2019, Onoda participated in a fanclub event titled "Hello Pro Kenshuusei Special Event in Nagoya ~Hajimemashite! 6~ at Midland Square Cinema 2" alongside Kubota Nanami, Matsubara Yulia, and Saito Madoka. From July 19th to July 29th, she performed in the stage play Daihi [story B Daihi 37m] by the theater troupe Innocent Sphere.
Onoda received various awards each year during the annual Hello! Project Kenshuusei Happyoukai events. These awards include the Makoto (Character) Award, given by Sharan Q drummer Makoto, for her performance of Juice=Juice's "'Hitori de Ikiraresou' tte Sore tte Nee, Homete Iru no?" in 2020, the judge's singing award for her performance of "Do it! Now" in 2021, and the Best Performance Award by public vote as well as the Dance Award for performing "Mugen Climax" and "Kimagure Princess" in 2022.
On May 21, 2022, Onoda, Matsubara Yulia, Hashida Honoka, and Murakoshi Ayana, appeared as background dancers in the "Nantettatte I Love You" music video.
On June 29, 2022, it was revealed that Onoda joined the new line up of Hello Pro Kenshuusei Unit '22 alongside Matsubara Yulia, Hashida Honoka, Murakoshi Ayana, and Uemura Hasumi. On May 23, 2023, it was announced that Onoda and fellow Hello Pro Kenshuusei Unit members would debut in a new group in 2024.
On June 16, 2024, the new group's name was revealed to be Rosy Chronicle, and it was announced that the unit would start their activities at the Hello! Project 2024 Summer ALL OF US tour on July 13th. Two days later, she and the other Rosy Chronicle members were officially promoted from Hello Pro Kenshuusei.
