Nishimura Karin was revealed to be one of two new Hello Pro Kenshuusei Hokkaido members, alongside Shibuya Hina, in an official website announcement on December 3, 2019. They made their first live appearance and were officially introduced at the "Hello! Project Kenshuusei Happyoukai 2019 12gatsu ~Ketsu; Musubu~" on December 8, 2019
