History
In January 2022, Shimakawa Hana participated in the audition for Sashihara Rino's produced group ≒JOY, but failed to pass.
Shimakawa then participated in the Hello! Project 25th Anniversary audition in the latter half of 2023. Though she didn't pass the final round, she was revealed to be one of nine new Hello Pro Kenshuusei members in episode #515 of "Hello! Station" on February 7, 2024. She then appeared in episode #198 of Hello Dream. on February 13, 2024 where the new members were introduced to the current Kenshuusei members. She made her first live appearance at the Hello Pro Kenshuusei Recital March 2024 "Mimosa" on March 2nd.
On June 16th, it was announced that Shimakawa was added to the line-up of the new Hello! Project group Rosy Chronicle along with Soma Yume, which were scheduled to start activities at the Hello! Project 2024 Summer ALL OF US tour on July 13th. Two days later, she and the other Rosy Chronicle members were officially promoted from Hello Pro Kenshuusei.
