Skirt, Hirari is AKB48's second indie single. Skirt, Hirari was used as the theme song for "Odaiba Gakuen 2006 ~Bunkasai~". This single reached #13 on the Oricon charts, charted for six weeks and sold 20,609 copies.
The seven selected members were named "Sukahira Seven" and originally were meant to be the consistent leads of AKB48. However this idea was changed over time, ultimately phasing out Narita Risa almost immediately, then Nakanishi Rina next. More or less, the other 5 girls are seen normally as consistent leads of AKB48.
