AKB48 SEED are trainees under Akihabara48 who aim to debut. They are expected to work and perform in the AKB48 Theater as backing dancers.
Four members of AKB48 SEED - Kuramochi Asuka, Naruse Risa, Satou Amina and Deguchi Aki - have been chosen to be part of Himawari-gumi and perform regularly with the members of AKB48's Team A and Team K. Three of these members - Kuramochi Asuka, Satou Amina and Deguchi Aki - appeared on a version of the single Yuuhi wo Miteiru ka.
