Watanabe Mayu is a Japanese idol singer. She is part of AKB48's 'Team B'. Mayu was absent from Team B performances from May 31st to July 10th because of a leg injury. She introduces herself at each performance with "ハートフル、ピースフル、ビューティフルのフルパワーでがんばります" (I'll do my best heartfully, peacefully, beautifully and with full power).
