• Originally a 10th generation member of Kenkyuusei, she was promoted to Team 4 on March 24, 2012. During the AKB48 team shuffle in August 2012, Team 4 was disbanded and she was transferred to Team B. During the AKB48 Group Grand Shuffle in February 2014, she was transferred back to a newly formed Team 4.
• She shares her name with Kato Rena (加藤玲奈), a newscaster for NTV.
