- Originally a 4th generation member of AKB48 Kenkyuusei, she was promoted to Team A in October 2008, then transferred to Team K during the AKB48 team shuffle in 2012. During the AKB48 Group Grand Shuffle in 2014, she was transferred back to Team A, then again to Team K during the AKB48 team shuffle in 2015.
- Nakata's given name is written in kanji (「千智」). However, she adopted the hiragana reading (「ちさと」) as her stage name.
- Originally auditioned for AKB48's 2nd and 3rd generations.
