  • Originally a 10th generation member of Kenkyuusei, she was promoted to Team 4 on March 24, 2012. During the AKB48 team shuffle in August 2012, Team 4 was disbanded and she was transferred to Team B. During the AKB48 Group Grand Shuffle in 2014, she was transferred back to a newly formed Team 4, then again to Team B during the AKB48 team shuffle in 2015.
  • She shares her name with Kato Rena (加藤玲奈), a newscaster for NTV.
  • Created the "Renacchi Sousenkyo," an informal ranking of her top 16 favorite members, on 755. She then requested to Akimoto Yasushi that a song and music video be made for this group, which became "Madonna no Sentaku", a coupling track on the single "Kuchibiru ni Be My Baby".
