Suzuki Mariya (鈴木まりや) is a Japanese pop singer and idol managed by Flave Entertainment. She is currently a member of SNH48 Team SII and shares a concurrent position with AKB48 Team K.

Trivia

  • Originally a 7th generation member of AKB48 Kenkyuusei, she was promoted to Team B on May 21, 2010. Her transfer to SNH48 was announced during the AKB48 team shuffle in August 2012, and she was placed in Team SII in November 2013.
    • In April 2013, she was announced for a concurrent position with AKB48 Team A. During the AKB48 Group Grand Shuffle in 2014, her concurrency was transferred to Team K.
  • Originally auditioned for AKB48's 2nd, 4th, and 6th generations.
  • Originally she was announced for promotion to Team A in 2009, but this was changed to Team B to maintain the sixteen-member lineup in the three teams.
  • Her catchphrase is "3ji no Oyatsu wa Mariyannu" (3時のおやつはまりやんぬ; A snack for 3 o' clock is Mariyannu), from a Bunmeido commercial. This was spoken for her line in "Team B Oshi".
