Yokoyama Yui (横山由依) is a Japanese pop singer and idol managed by Ohta Production. She is currently the captain of AKB48 Team A, and was previously a member of NMB48 through a dual position with Team N.

Trivia

  • Originally a 9th generation member of Kenkyuusei, she was promoted to Team K on October 10, 2010. She was transferred to Team A during the AKB48 team shuffle in August 2012. Yokoyama was appointed captain of Team A following Shinoda Mariko's graduation in July 2013. During the AKB48 Group Grand Shuffle in February 2014, she was transferred back to Team K and retained her position as team captain.
    • In addition to her 2012 transfer to Team A, it was also announced that she would hold a dual position with NMB48's Team N. On April 28, 2013, Yokoyama was released from her concurrency and her final performance in the NMB48 Theater took place on May 20 of the same year.
  • Originally auditioned for SKE48's 2nd generation.
  • Her audition song was "Blue Bird" by Ikimonogakari.
  • Has a pet cockatiel.
  • Attended Heart Voice Studio Music School for middle and high School.
  • Was the vocalist in a high school band.
