"SMTOWN LIVE in TOKYO SPECIAL EDITION" is the first Japanese SM Town DVD. The concert was filmed on September 4th, 2011 at the Tokyo Dome. It was released in two versions : a limited edition presented in a "MEMORIAL BOX", containing the Tokyo Dome concert, a bonus disc with recordings from the January 26th, 2011 concert held in the Yoyogi National Gymnasium, a 36-page photobook and a memorial SMTOWN T-shirt ; and a regular edition presented in a slipcase (first press only) and containing the Tokyo Dome concert.
