Trivia
- Originally a 9th generation Kenkyuusei, she was promoted to full member status on December 8, 2010 and was placed in Team 4 in June 2011. Although she was appointed as team captain, a scandal in September resulted in Oba stepping down from the position and being suspended from AKB48 activities. She returned to the group in January 2012. During the AKB48 team shuffle in August 2012, Team 4 was disbanded and she was transferred to Team B.
